National  Center for Resource Family Support - The Center provides support for foster families, adoptive families, and kinship groups. It includes fact sheets, useful contacts for every state, handbooks and toolkits, overviews and lists of resources for specific topics, policy analysis and more.  

DHS- Iowans Working Together...Doing What Works - This site informs families about how to become foster parents. Under "How Do I?" click, "Become a Foster Parent?"

Survivors of the System: Foster Children United - Youth and children who have been in the foster care system can share their experiences, work for better services, read current news articles, and much more.
