Wartburg College  Seniors who are interested in Wartburg College may qualify for one of the following scholarships: Regents and Presidential or Meistersinger Music Scholarship.  If interested in attending Wartburg, students may attend several visit days.  For more information, please visit the counseling office or www.wartburg.edu

University of Iowa Horatio Alger Iowa Scholarship Program  Seniors who are intersted in attending the University of Iowa may be eligible for the Horatio Alger Iowa Scholarship Program.  To be eligible, students must be a current senior, pursue a bachelor's degree (can start studies at a 2-year), have critical financial need, involved in  co-curricular and community activities, at least a 2.0 GPA.  Information is available in the counseling office or at http://www.horatioalger.org/scholarships/apply.cfm  

Toyota Community Scholarship  The Toyota Community Scholarship is available.  The prime factor in the selection process is academic performance with some emphasis community service within and outside the school setting.  If interested, please see Ms. Cusick   Deadline to apply is December 1, 2008.

Grinnell College  Seniors who are interested in Grinnell College may be eligible for the Howard R. Bowen scholarship.  Applications and information are available in the counseling office.     Deadline to apply is December 1, 2008. 

Eastern Iowa Light & Power Cooperative  The Eastern Iowa Light & Power Cooperative scholarship program is now available.  To be eligible, a senior must have a parent or guardian who is a member of the Eastern Iowa Light & Power Cooperative.  Applications are available by mail, from the website, or at any Cooperative service center after January 1, 2009.  

United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarships  The United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship is now available in the counseling office or online at www.iajcisenate.org  Deadline to apply is January 6, 2009. 

University of Northern Iowa  Seniors who are interested in attending the University of Northern Iowa and pursuing a degree in the College of Natural Sciences, may be eligible for scholarships.  For more information and applications, visit http://www.uni.edu/finaid     Deadline to apply is January 15, 2009. 

Muscatine Chapter of the Iowa Engnieering Society  The Muscatine Chapter of the Iowa Engineering Society is awarding two scholarships to seniors interested in pursuing an engineering degree and career.  Seniors must plan to attend University of Iowa or Iowa State University, maintained a 3.0 GPA in 10th and 11th grade, and have an ACT score of 24 or higher.  Applications and further informatiion is available in the counseling office.   Deadline to apply is January 16, 2009. 

Grand Lodge of Iowa Masonic Scholarships  The Grand Lodge of Iowa Masonic Scholarships are available to eligible seniors: pursue post-secondary education in any state at an accredited institution, service to school and community, academic record, financial need, etc.  For more information, please visit the counseling office.   Deadline to apply is February 1, 2009.

University of Dubuque  Students who are interested in the University of Dubuque may attend the upcoming preview days: November 15, December 6, February 21 and March 21.  Information is available in the counseling office.   

KFC Colonel's Scholars Program The KFC Colonel's Scholars Program is dedicated to assisting students with financial need who plan to pursue a bachelor's degree at a public institution within their legal state of residence.  Further information and applications are available at www.kfcscholars.org from December 1, 2008 to February 10, 2009.    

Iowa Newspaper Foundation  The Iowa Newspaper Foundation has college scholarships available for students preparing for a newspaper career.  Applications are available in the counseling office or may be downloaded at www.inanews.com/inf/scholarships.php    Deadline to apply is February 13, 2009.

Grand Lodge of Iowa  The Grand Lodge of Iowa announced their MCEC Technical Scholarship.  Seniors who plan to enroll in a mechanical or trade course of study at an accredited Iowa Community College may be eligible.  More information is available in the counseling office.  Deadline to apply is February 28, 2009.

Iowa State University John T. & Thelma V. McColm Scholarship  Seniors who are interested in Iowa State University, the John T. and Thelma V. McColm Scholarship is now available.  Further requirements are available in the counseling office.    Deadline to apply is March 1, 2009.

University of Nebraska  Seniors who are interested in attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha and in Music, may be eligible for a music scholarship.  More information is available in the counseling office.    Deadline to apply is March 1, 2009.

The Principal IT Scholarship  The Principal IT Scholarship and other scholarships are now available.  To be eligible, seniors must be a resident of Iowa, minimum GPA of 3.25, select a Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Computer Programming or related field of study at an accredited college or university.  Applications can be found online at http://www.principal.com/careers/scholarships.htm     Deadline to apply is March 15, 2009.

Morrison Institute of Technology  Morrison Institute of Technology is hosting an open house on October 18, 2008, November 15, 2008, and March 7, 2009.  Campus visit day is on February 18, 2009.  For more information about MIT, please visit www.morrisontech.edu    

Great River Medical Center  Students, who are interested in the health-care career, may attend a workshop at the Great River Medical Center.  Workshops are scheduled from 12:00-3:00 on the following dates: October 16, December 4, February 12, April 2 and July 16.  For more information regarding registration, please visit the counseling office.  

Iowa-Illinois Regional Auto Show Scholarship  To be eligible, seniors must have worked or had a relative work at least one year at a new car dealership in one of eighteen counties.  For more information and a list of counties, please visit the counseling office.  

The Robert Smiley Scholarship  The Robert Smiley Scholarship is available for high school senior girls who participated in athletics, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, must have lettered in one varsity sport.  If you are interested, please see Ms. Cusick.   Deadline to apply is April 1, 2009.

Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship Juniors who participated in the Iowa Sports Foundation events (Iowa Games, Net Fest, Hoopin' At the Done) are eligible for the Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship.  For an application, please visit the counseling office.    Deadline to apply is May 1, 2009. 

The Pearl Hull Falk Scholarship - University of Iowa The Pearl Hull Falk Scholarship is available in the counseling office.  To be eligible, seniors must be of the protestant faith, resident of Iowa, and attend the University of Iowa.  For more information, please visit the counseling office.    Deadline to apply is May 1, 2009. 

American Cancer Society  The American Cancer Society has announced their Youth Scholarship Program.  Students must have been diagnosed with cancer, be accepted to an accredited two to four year university or vocational/technical school, and provide their EFC.  For more information and an application, please visit the counseling office.    Deadline to apply is May 15, 2009.

Civil Engineering  Seniors who plan to enroll in undergraduate Civil Engineering, may be eligible for a scholarship.  Applications are available in the counseling office or at http://sections.asce.org/quadcity/events.htm .    Deadline to apply is March 15, 2009.
