ART IN THE COMMUNITY is now displaying the following students art work in local businesses up until mid-April, 2008: Aren Shafer, Angel Dalton, Gaven Miller, Justine Myer, Heath Parrot, Alex Edmonds, Annette Erickson, Jessica Holsteen, Sam Lane, Walker Hostetter, Stephani Brockway, Klay Foster, Sarah Coates, Rian Gerber, Brady Banwart, Kolton Meth, Nick Isom, Autumn Fjeld, Lindsey Thie, Tyler Johnson, Maxwell Drebenstedt, Nick Anderson, Nate Hine, Gauge Johnson, Karrie Wagenbach, Maggie Myers, Skylar Robinson, Darby Mauer, Travis Campbell, Ryan Heckenberg, Savannah Allen, Olivia Allen.

          ART IN THE COMMUNITY is a Service Learning Project designed to recognize student achievement in the arts and also acts to instill a sense of responsibility for students to contribute to society. 

We are appreciative of the following businesses who have donated wall space for this project:  Dr. Bradley Bork, Southeast Security Banking Center, Eland Agency Inc., Mediapolis Veterinary Clinic, Mediapolis Clinic, Carruthers Pharmacy, Mediapolis News, Mediapolis Telephone Co., Mediapolis Savings Bank, Edna’s Main Street Salon, the Hawkeye Group, and Mediapolis Public Library.

We would especially like to thank parent volunteer, Pam Massner in helping to make this project a success. 

We at Mediapolis School always enjoy recognizing outstanding achievement of our students and genuinely appreciate the efforts of others who assist in promoting the arts in our school.
